The other day I was at Buckland Hill in Mosman Park and there is a sign/map there depicting the changing sea-levels over the past 10,000 years (See pic on this site – Present Times, Perth Photos, Mosman Park). It’s quite topical. In the little narrative accompanying the photo I made mention of the work that Rhodes Fairbridge undertook at Rottnest as part of his sea-level research. Small world.
