Anzac Day at Fairbridge, in beautiful weather, was a peaceful time of reflection. David Buck ably led the service. As many as 120 people were at the service which was held, as always, at the Memorial Gates. All the names of those ex-Fairbridge service people who lost their lives in WW2 and Korea were read aloud during the service. A good number of ex-servicemen were there who participated in an Anzac march. The service was musically enhanced by the Mandurah Youth Band. After the service many people went along to the Club House for lunch and as an opportunity to catch up and chat. It was pleasant to see Sid Stonehouse there celebrating his 87th birthday with his family and friends. Well done Lois Elliott and granddaughter for providing hundreds of cups of tea!
